A hair dieng question?

well i got spiky hair sumtimes or down hair with back hair spiky n bangs

i wuz wondering which is the best product to die my tips of my hair blonde?

i tried garnier fructis cuz i like its gel and shampoo

and my tips turned out fine

any tips for products?

A hair dieng question?

keep on using garnier fructis??

A hair dieng question?

Well see it's difficult to answer a question like this. What colour is your hair now? If it's black you would want to use a product called "blondissima". After a few days of doing that, you can go over it with the blonde colour you want in your hair.. A box product, such as L'oreal.. Or anything of your choice.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut

Traditionally one does not tip the owner who is providing a service. Tip the shampoo person but not, in this case, the hair dresser.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

yes, she would appreciate it.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

800 dollars? what kind of dollars? thats an expensive haircut even by los angeles standards.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Yes...because you chose to pay that kind of money but you still need to tip. Sorry.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

if she did well then, yes. $800 for a haircut?!?

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

well atleast leave 20$ but dam that is one expensive hair cut or style

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

If you don't she will mess your hair up next time.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Yes.. You always tip your hair stylist.

Why would you pay $800 for a hair cut?

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

$800 you have got to be kidding!

I mean unless she is doing a TON of work

but I wouldn't tip

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

I think the questioner made a typo and means $80.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Depends what country you are from. Tipping is not standard in every country...

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Depends where you come from. We don't tip much in New Zealand. But if I was paying that kind of money for a haircut then yes I would tip if it is the done thing.

You'll get a better haircut next time

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

$800... We could probably end world hunger if it wasn't for stupid people like yourself wasting money on shite. Go to Head Start or some place similar and pay $20 for the same hair cut.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Only if you are John Edwards.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

She's already getting the $800 for the job she's done. What more does she want or expect. No need to tip.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Normally you wouldn't tip the owner. She is already getting paid out of the stores profit, and not relying on an hourly wage. But its nice to do if it was for a special occasion, like wedding or prom hair, or right before the holidays.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

I am worried that this is a concern of yours. $800 for a haircut!! Are you from the USA, don't you have tipping policies, like 10% of what you were billed. I am an aussie chick and I can not believe that somebody would pay that much for a haircut and be so woried about tipping. Hell if money is not an issue give her a neat $1000.00 and ask for a glass of champers.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

Look Paris, Those chicks in prison think they can get away with murder. Just tip the b*tch a carton of Camels and hope you don't run into her in the showers.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

I pay $8 to get my haircut.. wtf 800

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

For someone trying to show off how much they paid for a haircut, it seems unclassy that they are asking if they should tip a hairstylist.

Of course you should.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

I can not believe this, $800 for a hair cut and you are worried about spending another $80 dollars on the tip. Obviously money is not that much of an issue with you, why are you concerned about a tip when you should be worrying about the $800 dollars you just spent on a hair cut.

Why not go some where else for a hair cut at a salon that charges 10 percent of what you have just spent and the other $700 give to a women's shelter or to a fund for under privileged children.

Not only will you still get a wonderful haircut but you will be making the world a little better place to be. Not only are you helping families who can't afford the necessities but your money will be going to educating the next generation of adults. And I can't think of no better way of spending that kind of money on these things when money is not an issue.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

If someone is corrupt enough to pay 800. for a haircut, SURE why not!? What's another 50 bucks!? Why don't you take her out to lunch afterwards and fill her gas tank too.... maybe pay her utility bill for the shop while you're at it! Noooooo just give her a blank signed check and let her write in an amount!

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

What kind of haircut is that? Does she make a leaning tower of pisa out of your hair?

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

If you can afford an $800 hair style then you can afford to tip.

I just think that is a ridiculous waste of money. The only reason someone would charge that much is because there are dingbats who will pay it. Expensive is not always better.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

If you can afford $800 for a haircut, then yes give a 15% tip to, after all it's only an extra $120.

Do I tip the hair stylist if she is also the owner? After all, she is charging $800 for the hair cut.?

I don't tip the owner, but she hardly ever does my hair. I do tip the ones working for her because part of what they make goes to the owner. But if you want to tip, tip...if you don't, don't. If she has a problem with it or says something about it, find a new stylist.

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

okay, so I know that if the tip of your hair is white, then that mean its like a split end and should be cut off. So I get my hair trimmed, but how come the tips of my hairs are still white? does that mean I have to cut more untill the tip of my hair isn't white?.

plz help?

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

It does sound like split ends, which may be reoccurring because of frequent use of hot hair appliances eg. straightener or just dry ends.

Have your hair trimmed every 4 weeks even if you're trying to grow it. Use a power packed conditioner like Schwarzkopf's Extra Care Fortifying Treatment Conditioner for Damaged and Split ends. You can also use a natural bristle brush as they're kinder on the hair.

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

your hair is white?

ive never heard of that before

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

well if you cut it and its still white im pretty sure u dont need to cut it again right after. I mean im not too sure so i would check with a hairdresser. but since you cut it and its white right after its not split ends, if its been a few weeks or sumthing then it may be.

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

yeaa! but if it gets white REALLY REALLY fast then that is REALLY REALLY wierd and maybe a doctor or ask you hair cuter person!

and wat did you mean as poserish!???

Okay. Hair question????..about split ends?

well if the tip of your hair is still white after trimming then it might not be a good idea to keep on trimming it. your hair would just get shorter and shorter.

if you really think it's split ends then try moisturizing the tips real well.. but i don't think it's split ends. it'll be better if you consluted your hairdresser or a professional. maybe it's the shampoo or some pigmentation problem.

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

or is putting blue on my underneath layer best?

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

im a colourist, and either way blue only lasts in your hair for about 3 washes at the most.its because the particles in blue pigment are alot bigger than in other colurs. so the colour doesnt go IN ur hair- it just goes ON it.it depends wat way u style ur hair but i would recommend getting tips done first, because if it goes wrong its easier to cut out. if the colour works well with ur hair then i would maybe suggest streaks, but only if its done by a good colourist who will ensure it doesnt make u look like a punk from the 80s lol.

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

talk to any pensioner ,they are the specialists in blue rinse

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

Are you a girl or boy?

Blue streaks in for a girl are HOT! :D

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

Underneath layer, it's a surprise. Looks cooler if at first glance you're just blonde.

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

If you REALLY want them to show, then streaks, but if you don't want them to look weird, and completely noticable, then tips.

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

Depends on what you want. Streaks are stronger-looking than tips, but I like undercolour or flashes best.

Blue hair ROCKS!

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

if you have never had blue in your hair i would get extensions the ones u can clip in because colouring your hair blue does not last long and turns green quite quickly and can be costly to keep colouring it,

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

You can dip your hair in blue Kool-Aid...it's temporary but it works pretty well. (Tips would be best.)

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

Hi there , my advise as a hair stylist would be to leave a blue colour as the blue tints you get from the wear house are semi and with your hair colour Blonde as you wash it the blue can spread on to the bits you did not want blue , and from my experience a permanent blue , well they call it permanent it also does not last and when fades it goes a very washed out blue. Why not try a few individual human hair strips in blue they are great and put them where you want them

I have light/golden blonde hair and want to have blue put in it, what is best blue streaks or tips?

I suggest you don't put any blue in it as you will end up looking like a badger! Go for a colour nearer your hair colour and eyebrows.

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

hi, i have some hydrogen peroxide and i am going to bleach my hair with it i want to either dye the tips of my hair or put in highlights

what is easier to do, highlights or tips? can u please give my step by step directions on how to dye the tips or put in highlights or both? by both i mean give me the two directions

I DON'T WANT HIGHLIGHTS AND THE TIPS! THAT WILL LOOK FUNKY!

thank u SOOO much!

PLEASE DON'T SAY "DON'T DO IT!" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT PLEASE!

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

no smart A answers, but professional one. If you have dark hair, and If you want it to turn some strange shade of orange go right ahead, also it is very drying to use household peroxide to lighten your hair. Stylists and colorists use a special type for whatever effect they are looking to achieve. If you don't have dark hair, go ahead, but it may still become very dry and you will probably damage it enough that the chemicals in chlorine this summer will turn you a nice shade or green.

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

Don't use hydrogen peroxide. Go to the pharmacy (CVS, Rite-aid, Walgreens, whatever) and get a highlighting kit. It will be MUCH easier and much more consistent. If you try to use peroxide its likely to drip and bleach unevenly (and turn yellow-y/orange- NOT blonde!).

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

I would have to know what strength of peroxide you have. 10 volume will only deposit color. The peroxide in the drug store will not lighten your hair. They are for cuts, ect. If you want to lighten your hair, you need to buy a lightner kit. Word of Warning, they contain Bleach and this will dry the hair out horrible. Use a color that is at least 10 levels, and just take few strands at a time to do this. follow the directions. It is easy.

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

Yeah sweety don't try to do this your self on person already said if you do not have blonde hair bleaching will make it turn an uggggly color of orange. Go to a stylist they know what their doing and will give you what you want.

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

just buy a cheap highlighting kit or sun-in... you shouldn't use hydrogen peroxide on your hair

Hair and hydrogen peroxide???.........?

I have dark brown hair and actually have done this and it turned my hair only a bit lighter. It didn't damage my hair at all, so I don't see what you guys are talking about.

First do a test strip on a small section of hair where if it goes wrong, you can hide it. For some people it turns orange, but for most it doesn't. Wait a day and see if it works. Then do the highlights/tips. That'll prevent orange hair. Good luck! =]]

print one of the photos and give it to a hairstylist. also... ask for a punk/gothic stylist.

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

Ask for really choppy layers and choppy bangs. but if you really wannt to be satisfied, i suggest bringing a pic to ur hairdresser.

good luck : )

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

just print out the pictures so u can show to the barber.

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

I would definitely invest in some wax and paste for a haircut like that, and some cute barrettes/hairbands. I would just print out the pictures and bring them in- you pay for the cut, you get what you want!!

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

SHOW THEM THE PIC

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

its called scene hair

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

bring a pic to ur hair dresser and say u want it just like that. they should be able to do it. that what i do.

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

I think this is called a shag. Bring the pics with you.

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

definately show your hair stylist the pics. ask for parted or sideswept bangs (whichever one you like) and ask them to cut the hair in choppy layers. If that doesn't work, ask for short layers...they would usually understand and if you want your hair to look softer and thinner, ask for the ends to be thinned.

I want this hair. What should I ask for when getting it cut? And also I need some styling tips please. :)?

I know what you mean by bringing the picture and them not cutting it how you want it.

I have a simular hairstyle and asked for it to be choppy, plenty of layers - some shorter than others. Also ask for a side-swept fringe, and a side parting.

I'd invest in a comb and hairspray - for slightly backcombing it, or some wax / hair putty. Also, buy hair-clips, bows and headbands galore, they help you when you can't be bothered to spend a long time doing your hair, and looks really cute.

Hope this helps! x

I have hair thats naturally really straigt alitte bit below my shoulder. so hard for it to stay curl

Use Gel before you blow dry... then once you dry it as you curl it spray the curls with extra hairspray. (extra hold, besure to buy a quality brand too... Aquanet is not quality)

I have hair thats naturally really straigt alitte bit below my shoulder. so hard for it to stay curled. tips?

wid dry hair sleep in soft curlers, then hair spray it.

I have hair thats naturally really straigt alitte bit below my shoulder. so hard for it to stay curled. tips?

make sure to use a strong aerosol hairspray. also make sure your hair hasn't been freshly washed. the curls will hold longer if your hair is dirty. there a couple of ways to curl hair, you can use rollers or irons. i suggest you use rollers. they are alot less damaging to the hair. hope that helped.

How should I tip my hair dresser?

I usually add the tip to my credit card charge, but should I give him the money directly, since he's not the one at the register?

How should I tip my hair dresser?

Cash in hand is always the best for them. It should be 20% of your total bill. If they are very good to you and your hair and you want to keep them be generous. Do not exceed the amount your cut cost though. They will expect a similar tip from you each time you visit.

Good Luck

How should I tip my hair dresser?

Why tip a hairdresser? Why tip anyone who is doing the job s/he is paid to do? By all means give a tip if you think the service is exceptional and warrants it but tipping for tipping's sake is something that should be stamped out. You pay someone to cut or style your hair. If the price charged is inadequate it is up to the hairdresser to set prices accordingly not for you to pay above the price asked.

How should I tip my hair dresser?

If the owner of the shop is honest, the additional money added to the card for the tip should be passed onto your stylist.

How should I tip my hair dresser?

I tip mine with cash. Then use my credit card to pay for the hair cut.

How should I tip my hair dresser?

It's fine to put it on the credit card. He will get it.

If you want to make it clear you tipped him; after you pay go up and thank him, tell him you added the tip to the credit card. Say you wanted to make sure he knows, so he gets it.

How should I tip my hair dresser?

Its nicer to give the money directly because then we don't have to pay taxes on them...most salons are honest enough to give the stylist their tip...if I ever cought a receptionist stealing stylist tips I would fire them on the spot

How should I tip my hair dresser?

wher do u get ur hair done at??

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any T

I have this problem also if i use the same shampoo for a long period of time so try changing the products you use often

Don't put conditioner on your scalp and use a good clarifying shampoo.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I have to wash my hair every day too.

Recently discovered something called Dry Shampoo though which you can get in Boots.

You'll find it in the shampoo section and there's a brand called Lee Stafford that comes in a pink can (anbout 鎷?) and another brand called Baltiste that comes in a green can (about 鎷?).

They're aerosols and you basicallly spray it on the greasy bits and it absorbs the grease and makes your hair look and smell clean.

It seriously works. I got up late this morning and have it on now!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

try herbal essences oily hair shampoo. It really works and you can go for days with out washing it again. Try it!!!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I heard baby powder or using conditioner just on your tips.

I have to wash my hair everyday I can't stand not washing it.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I use a different shampoo (I have 4 different shampoos) every time I shampoo. This keeps oil and conditioner from building up on your hair. Also, I only use one shampoo that has a conditioner in it. If your hair is greasy, you want to avoid anything with a conditioner in it except when absolutely necessary.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I have to wash my hair everyday too. If I don't have time, I just wear it up in a pony tail or braids.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

lay off the fatty foods, this really does have a baring on the oil your body excretes.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

Are you using shampoo specifically for oily hair? You shouldn't use conditioners at all. Brush or comb your hair once in the morning and that's it. Otherwise you are combing any accumulated oil on your scalp through your hair. You are also stimulating your scalp to produce more oil.

Sometimes having a perm will help too.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

You could be overwashing it, this can strip the hair of its natural oils which can then lead to an overproduction of oil in the hair. Also use different hair products as using the same one all the time doesn't help and ask a hairdresser for advice.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

Put powder against your scalp on the second day. I like to use loose powder (like Maybelline or Cover Girl). The powder will help absorb the extra oil.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I used to be the same till i started to use a shampoo for greasy hair by kerastase, u can get it at a reputable hairdressers, and it costs about 鎷?0, but now i can wash my har every other day, if that makes no difference it could be a medical problem or something horomonal, check it out with your doctor.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I agree w/ everyone else about the clarifying shampoo, the powder (only a little on roots) and switch shampoos your hair's probably used to the one you have. I switch between two brands, a salon brand and a cheaper one to keep my hair in good shape but not always have to be using the expensive stuff. Then that way your hair never gets used to it. Also, I wash everyother day because it's actually better for your hair and keeps it from getting too thin. Even Jessica SImpson washes every 3 days so dont think im woerd or anything... it's like shaving the more you do the more you need to. Start skipping sundays or something or wearing your hair in a ponytail on day two until your body chemistry ajusts and you feel comfortable. Good luck!!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

My hair does exactly the same thing it gets on my nerves too!! I buy a thing called dry shampoo. You spray it into your hair and then comb it out!... it does work i promise!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I have the same problem and wash my hair every day too. I've found that shampoos which are clear work best for me. As already suggested, rotate products, concentrating on ones what are specifically for greasy hair. What also works for me is to use a spray in conditioner (I love Aussi Leave In!) and use it just on the ends. I also just dry my fringe with a hairdryer and leave the rest to dry naturally.

when you take showers use shampoo then wash it out and then use conditioner leave it in your hair for about 10 min. and then wash the conditioner out really good, and when your still in the shower brush your hair under the water so all the conditioner washes out.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I have greasy hair too.

This may sound a bit ridiculous to you, but try it, I promise it works: When you wash your hair, wash it with shampoo first, and then again with soap. The soap actually "dries" your hair and removes all the grease and oils.

I have been doing that everyday for the last two years, and my hair does not look greasy anymore! =)

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

If you have to wash it, (I have to wash it everyday), sometimes I wash my hair with a small amount of baby shampoo and then Lot's of conditioner on the ends of my hair.

Or I tie my hair back and put Lot's of mouse on or hair spray anything that will smell nice and then I just wash my fringe, that way my hair wont be ruined with all the washing.

I have heard using an old pair of tights can get rid of grease and like someone said using talc, it's so annoying isn't it, I always feel dirty if i don't wash my hair,

And think that people are staring at me ha-ha

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I know the problem. I had the same regime for years. Only recently I discovered some facts about shampoos and conditioners that helped explain why I had the problem...I have made appropriate changes and ...the problem has all but gone away - naturally.

Typical off-the-shelf shampoos, whether cheapo 'own brands' from supermarkets/stores or expensive designer stuff, or 'specialist celeb hairdresser personality' creations...are almost all total chemical cocktails. (sometimes with an occasional minor amount of a natural ingredient added as a token gesture for marketing purposes)

Sure, shampoos contain detergents/degreasers. Very typically (check your bottles now) they use Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (US: Sulfate) or Sodium Laureth Sulphate. These are very effcetive degreasers - they use the stuff to clean garage forecourts...and they are widely used in personal care products.

These detergents (and their 'sister' chemicals Ammonium - Lauryl or Laureth - Sulphate) are harse and abrasive 閳?(weakening the hair and making it porous so that it easily 閳ユbsorbs閳?stuff...like your natural scalp sebum making hair look greasy very quickly) 閳? but they do create lots of 'creamy rich foam'. (AND these are simply one of many chemicals used routinely in hair care that actually undermine the health of your hair).

Sadly 'creamy rich foam' is a marketing nonsense that we have all be 'conned into believing' represents a 閳ユΜich luxurious閳?product. We have been 'taught' by endless advertising campaigns that 'creamy rich lather閳?means 閳ユreat product'...this is UTTER RUBBISH.

Imagine stripping all the natural oils from your scalp and hair - like these products/chemical components do - your body reacts in 'overdrive' producing more natural protective oils..its a vicious circle...your hair gets oily/greasy - you wash it again with harsh detergents...etc, etc

Eventually you think - maybe I need a shampoo for 'greasy hair'...EVEN WORSE...as it is essentially the same as the other stuff but with even more harsh detergent!!!

Then the resulting weakened hair - you start to support with more chemical laden conditioning - a blend of chemicals and synthetic waxes - with synthetic fragrance, synthetic colours, and synthetic prerservatives...You hair can become 'overwhelmed' by layers of wax and chemicals...so you really do not see or know what your true hair is like any more.

The radical (and I'd say only real) solution is to get all the toxic chemical rubbish out of your bathroom cabinet.

You should change to a 100% natural, chemical free product - ideally choose a guaranteed organic product (made from all natural, organically grown ingredients -so not even farming chemical residues can affect your hair).

From experience I can suggest Desert Flower shampoo from miessence, or maybe their Lemon Myrtle shampoo (which is designed for oilier hair - but is NOT full of harsh detergent). After the first few washes - you may experience a period of 'de-tox' whilst your hair sheds all the chemical residues. This can be a difficult period for some people - for me the transition was immediate and my hair just got better and stronger (and regained it natural colours). Some folks have a difficult week or so whilst their hair regains its strength.

As your hair gets its natural strength and consistency back - you should notice that it is nowhere near as greasy. I now find that a shampoo every third day is about right - so even though the product is more expensive than the cheapest brands - it lasts around 3 times longer...BUT WARNING..do not expect lots of 閳ユoamy lather閳?閳?just a gentle natural foam that is all, from the natural 閳ユΞaponified閳?plant based ingredients! (Stick with the transition... it is worth it!)

If you suffer from naturally greasy skin - then some dietary work could also help you. Drink plenty of pure fresh water. Reduce fatty foods to a minimum and other consumption of yellow fats (margarines) and use modest amounts of (preferably virgin) olive oil, or virgin coconut oil (expensive, but superb) for cooking.

If you have any health issues which could affect your hair/natural secretions, or you cannot wait to 'treat your hair' to a tonic - you could also consider using the 100% natural, organic conditioner - which contains ONLY natural and beneficial ingredients...not syntheic waxes and weaking chemicals tthat make you hair more porous like mainstream brands.

In my experience - and that of our family - this regime really pays off.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

Get some hair powder it soaks up the grease. Only use talcum powder as a cheap alternative if you're blonde, if not you'll look like you have really bad dandruff. And to stop you hair from smelling put a little perfume on the ends.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

1. switch shampoo...

2. really only wash your hair a couple times a week... it takes a little bit but your hair will readjust and become less greasy and look awesome the second day

3. conditioner out of your roots.. put it on the ends of your hair mostly

4. keep your hands out of your hair!

5. blowdry your roots.. this will dry it out some.

do these things and your hair should be looking awesome!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

Don't use moisturizing shampoos... like 2-in-1 and stuff... causes build up...

I also recommend changing shampoos after you've consumed one bottle... I have at least 2 brands that I stick to...

Wash your hair with vinegar, makes it shiny and reduces build up which causes hair to grease up...

I only put conditioner on the tips...like from the nape down to the end of your hair...

Avoid putting conditioner on the area near your face..it causes break outs in that area..trust me, I've done that mistake...

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

what products r u using on your hair? maybe avoid using conditioner so much! if u r using a high street product as opposed to a salon product this could be a factor also!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

i have the same problem i use lee stafford dry shampoo available from boots or sunsilk shampoo and conditioner its in a blue bottle especially for hair that gets greasy quickly but just make sure you put the conditioner on the ends and not on the roots as that sometimes makes it worse.

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

this sounds stupid, but it works.

wash your hair in washing up liquid about twice a month, it completely drys it out and stops it feeling greasy. all the rest of the time wash your hair normally but when putting conditioner on only apply it to the ends!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

I know this is hard but you have to leave it, washing it more makes your scalp produce more oils to replace the ones you are washing away so its a vicious circle. If you reduce it to washing every other day then down to every third you will see a difference. I had this problem and its hard but I used to just wash my fringe on a morning, that way when that looked okay the fact that my hair was a little greasy didnt matter. Good luck!

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

Dry shampoo? There are in spray cans. I like them, it gives your hair a boost between washes, so you can wash your hair one day, then use the dry shampoo the next, or whenever. :)

Greasy Hair? Its really annoying i have to wash it every day or it looks horrible the 2nd day. Any Tips?

don't wash it every day, it will only bring your pores up, therefore making it more greasy.

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

I Have THICK wavy hair. I have it cut in a short layered bob thingy, but I have to straighten it everyday, or atleast every other day. I have bought expensive sprays to protect my hair, but nothing seems to help. The tips of my hair end up dying...they turn white and when i brush my hair they fall off, or i can just pull off the tips. Its so damaged and I dont know what i can do! I had longer hair, but I cut it, thinking if i cut the dead off and protected it before straightening it it would be okay. but no. and i cant blow it dry straight...it doesnt work. PLEASE HELP! is there any way I can fix the dead, or will i just have to let it grow then trim it, and try a different way of protecting it?? If so what ways can i protect it? IVE TRIED EVERYTHING! Thanks!!!

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

quit using the iron, cut off the dead ends and let it grow back out.......

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

stop ironing it dippy

be natural

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

How about you stop ironing your hair! problem solved.

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

Stop ironing it for a while, just have a break of it without sprays or anything just moisture and leave it breath for a while.

natural wavy hair is beautiful

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

get it permanantly straightened so you wont have to use the iron everyday. It will also damage your hair but possibly not as much so its worth a shot.

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

buy pantene pro-v time renewal shampoo and conditioner, it doesn't completely eliminate all your damage, but it gives your hair a much better feel and texture like you don't have all that damage. or use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. nexxus has a great line, and they all smell soooo good.

also, you should get a better straightener... i recommend conair infiniti.

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

Try using a REALLY low heat setting on your flat iron. Or consider getting a new flat iron, because that might be the problem. Also, try using a deep conditioner in your hair. I use Redken all soft heavy cream and it really helps my damaged hair. I dye it and straiten it frequently, so i know how crappy and annoying split ends are. And try using different kinds of protecting sprays to see which works best.

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

Hmm

Well, besides the obvious of stopping using one, (btw, i was in a similar situation where i straightened every day, but i found that it IS possible to find alternatives - such as letting it dry straight, maybe even blow dryings? it doesnt do as much damage)

You could try to chemically straighten? Because once the hair is dead, is dead. There's no reviving it

Hair Damage Cause By Flat Ironing My Hair?

I saw a program where they used a relaxer (found in the black hair care products area of walmart and other beauty stores) on a white womans hair. They are under $10.00 and they work on my hair so I don't see why they wouldn't work on yours.

I really like how Miley Cyrus' hair turns out, but when i try and do it it never works. Any tip

If you could also give me a good shampoo brand it would rock!

I really like how Miley Cyrus' hair turns out, but when i try and do it it never works. Any tips?

I know how you feel! I have tried to imitate her style but my hair is too thick. I use Pantene. You have to get the kind of Pantene for your hair type though. I need more details about what kind of hair you have.

I really like how Miley Cyrus' hair turns out, but when i try and do it it never works. Any tips?

Miley probably uses some special secret shampoo, sorry

I really like how Miley Cyrus' hair turns out, but when i try and do it it never works. Any tips?

what hair type do u have? if it is straight, long, and thick, part and pin up different sections. take a section, and with a curling iron(waving, whatev) wrap your hair around it. release after holding a few seconds. NEVER use any heated thingg after putting a product in, or hairspray,(common sense, duh!)!!! continue and you will have pretty, soft waves. :]]

also, i use Aquage, but that's for wavy, frizzy hair. try sunsilk! i used to use it, but my mom doesnt buy it anymore. lol!

I really like how Miley Cyrus' hair turns out, but when i try and do it it never works. Any tips?

actually i have just about the exact same hair type as miley.

when she has her hair normal i think she does what i do; use a curl cream and a little bit of mousse to combat friz

and when she dresses up she uses a curling iron or she straightens it

btw, its all about styling your hair, no shampoo is gonna do anything super special, i wish it was that easy! :)

Hairstyles in both men and women vary with current fashion trends and often used to determine social status. Hairdressing is the art of arranging the hair or otherwise modifying its natural state. Closely related to headgear, hairdressing has been important part of the dress of both men and women since antiquity and, like dress, serves a number of functions. The most important qualities for hair are that it be healthy, shining, and in a flattering, easy to manage style. U will find many things suitable to ur taste and preferences on the following links. My hair was down to my back all black and i cut it short up to my shoulder. i need tips on styling!!?

if its shoulder length there should be great ways to style it.

you could curl the bottom part of you hair inwards or outwards, whatever you prefer.

you could stragiten it and leave it down.

you could wear headbands...those are in style.

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

Ok, my hair is middle length. Brownish-black. At the tip ot my hair it is always curled. Not that really beautiful professional kind of loooking curl. It's just a curl that curled that sticks to he outside( if you know what i mean, if you don't, don't worry. That's not the whole point of this question)

How do i make the tip of my hair straight like the upper part of my hair? My mum said natural hair is the prettiest and won't let me straight my tips or buy a straightener.

Any ideas how to straight my hair without a straightener? I really want ideas that only nee a few elastics and water and tuff like that( if there is any ideas like that) but any other ideas would be fine.

thankyou!

p.s please don't tell me my mum is right and i should just leave my hair natural! i won't it straight so please just give me ideas and not just llecture me ! PLEASE!

Mwa mwa. thanks.

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

awh your english i love the mum thing but anyways. i think a great way to get rid of the curl at the end is to maybe blow dry your hair strait. if thats not allowed either. then try braiding it when its wet so that part stays down and doesnt have the oppertunity to curl.

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

try blow drying it straight and hair spray.

or you could apply water and right before it drys curly hairspray it so it stays in a straight form.

or otherwise you could use gel.

^__^

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

Hmmm...you can always try blowdrying your hair straight.

Will your mom let you use products?I guess not but a little mousse or something can really help.

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

I have the same problem, its sort of like a kink right at the bottom of my hair, although i straighten my hair , on days that i don't feel like it this is what i do...

I have this straightning balm that is heat activated supposed to be used by straightening with an iron BUT! i use a hair dryer for the heat and use a round brush to brush and dry the opposite way of the curl....

So yeah you could try a straightening balm.. any kind...

Herbal Essences, Alfredo, Sunsilk...

:) Hope this helps !

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

get a straight perm

Straight My Hair? easy 10 points!?

try using a straightening cream, like sunsilk. thats one way to make it a bit straighter without a straightening iron. use a de-frizzing lotion too, that always helps. but when you do use a straightening iron, take thin slices like less than a quarter inch thick and instead of straightening down towards your shoulders, straighten straight out away from your head. And add a few spritz of hair spray before using the iron, to help hold it.

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

also what is the proper tip for a pedicure?

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

15% is safe.

for example.. if the haircut is 20 and the blow is 60

80 total, tip $12

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

atleast 15%

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

15 to 20 percent of the total cost.

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

Tips should be based on the cost of the service. Typically 15% to 20% is customary. A good pedicure would warrant as much as a 20% tip. That is a rough job and deserving of a good tip.

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

Proper tip is 15%.

How much should i tip my hair stylist...for a hair cut and blow out?

Depends... Is it a "usual" person doing it for you? Are you ever going back there again and have the same person doing it, who may remember you? If so, I would be genrous. If it is someone you've never seen before, and plan on never seeing again, I wouldn't stress about it. I usually leave an extra 4 or 5 $ for a cut.

Very Dry Damanged Hair?

Okay, so I have had dry hair ever since 8th grade, and now I am a Jr. in College. My dry hair is due to heat damange, dye jobs, and hair relaxers(i think this is what it was) over the period of my life. Is it too late to get my hair to be normal again? I do not know what to do because since my hair is so dry, it is very wavy and not straight, and i have to use a straightening iron every day which only adds on to the dryness. It is a repeated cycle of damage hair for me. Does anyone have any tips on how to get my hair shiney and not as dry? I use Biosilk and use a heat resistant spray thing for my hair after i get out of the shower. But my hair is still dry as ever. My hair texture somewhat resembles the end of a broom stick (okay maybe i am over exaggerating, but it hurts when i poke the tip of my hair to my face.) HELP ME! =(

Very Dry Damanged Hair?

first of allll. you need to stop using the straightener, no matter how bad you're hair may look. don't use a blow dryer, that will kill it right there, i recommend, for straightness herbal essence "pin straight" "dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner" you just have to deal with it not being so straight for a while, let it get healthy again, it's possible, but it will take time. "heat resistance" that stuff never actually works, honestly, it's all about the chemicals you use in you're hair. shampoo, and conditioner. and do notttttt die you're hair, especially ever by yourself. that is the worst thing you can do

Very Dry Damanged Hair?

just use herbal essences!! i used to have really dry hair and i used herbal essences and it helps sooo much

Very Dry Damanged Hair?

all the damage you've done to your hair:

heating, dying, relaxing

is a lot, esp over long periods of time

first of all nothing you do will save your hair if you KEEP doing these things.

give your hair a break! really.

use leave-on deep conditioners to replenish moisture to your hair

you could probably use a trim too. i don't mean hack it all off, but i don't think you really need those broom bristles on your head, y'know?

go and get your hair trimmed at a salon and ask them to think it out,

so maybe there will be less hair for you to deal with

and from there you can condition and moisturize

i don't know if hair oils will work for you-- some people's hair gets oily enough, and applying hair oils just makes it slick and kind of gross

but you can try it if you think it'll help

and after washing your hair, comb it out- don't use a brush because you could damage the cuticles and it could split, esp since it's already in bad condition.

i really think though that you should take a break from the straightening. just put your hair up or something, idk.

braid it or whatever

do something else that won't kill your hair so badly

review:

trim

(oh and when you get it trimmed, ask the people at the salon for tips too. and if you ask them if they know where you can find stuff that isn't so pricey, i'm sure they can help too)

leave-in deep conditioner

oils (?)

take a break from the damage!

:D Ok. I dye my hair every few months - I forced myself to stop for a while. GIVE YOUR HAIR TIME TO RELAX. Promise yourself you won't use anymore stuff on it atleast for a few months.

Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

My hair is thick 'n wavy.Sometimes I straiten it,but it's still poufy.Plz give me tips on

first offffffff.....pleasee dont start making these homemade concoctions that people are going to tell you. in order to make your hair straight you are going to need to actually use a straightener (not mayo =] lol) First, begin by parting your head into two low pigtails. Tie up one of the big tails but leave one loose. Next, take the hair that is not tied and part in and tie up the top half. Spritz the area you have left down and immediatly and slowly straighten it. You may need to go over every piece about twice. When it is straightened spritz the section one more time and then take down your top section and do the same. Next, switch to the other side and do exactly what you did to the other side to the remaining side. The key to straightening your hair is to take it slowly and do small pieces. good luck!!!

My hair is thick 'n wavy.Sometimes I straiten it,but it's still poufy.Plz give me tips on how to straiten it!

Well, there are many ways that you can straighten your hair. A ceramic straightener usually works well. Or, you can get your hair permanently straightened at a salon (that usually costs about $200 depending on the lengh of your hair). You can also blow-dry straighten your hair. In stores, sometimes you can find blow-dry straightening balms that helpl keep your hair moist when you straighten it. You can see if you can get the blow-dry straightening balm at your haircutter's place. Good Luck!

My hair is thick 'n wavy.Sometimes I straiten it,but it's still poufy.Plz give me tips on how to straiten it!

squeze a coconut milk and add with a squeze of lime water. Stir it and put it in the refrigerator for a day until it become thick and creamy. apply it on your hair twice a week. your hair will become straight and healthy. May God bless you.

My hair is thick 'n wavy.Sometimes I straiten it,but it's still poufy.Plz give me tips on how to straiten it!

what works for me is if you go to your local beauty store(ULTA) and buy frizz-eaze. put that in your hair. than put your hair half up half down with clips and starighten the bottom. then let go of the other clip and straighten the top. put a little shine spray and your good to go=)

How much do you tip your hair-stylist?

I was just wondering how much i was supposed to tip! no one ever seems to be sure. i usually tip around 20% but i never know what is considered "normal"

(also... it is usually $75-$125 depending on whether or not i get both color and cut....or just one OR the other. So, that is about $15- $20 in tip...)

I need a new look for school...I want 2dye n cut my hair...I have an oval shape head n caramel skin any tips?

Oval face shapes are considered to be the most versitile when it comes to chooseing a haircut, so thats good news.

However, the best styles for oval face shapes are ones with layers that highlight your best feature. if you have really good cheekbones, you should get layers that touch just bellow them. if you want to highlight your lips, you should ask for longer layers. When your at your styleist, and ask for layers, tell them that you do NOT want short layers at the top of your head. These usualy make your face look akwardly long. I would suggest asking for long layers, with maybe some long side bangs. As for the color, maybe a dark dark brown? you could also get some medium brown put in too?

good luck!

these are nice for both the color and the cuts, depending on if you want it short or long:

I would appreciate it if you have actually tried it and it works. THANKS!!

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

When i was younger the only way I could make my hair wavy and stay wavy, was have my Mom put a little mousse or gel in wet hair, then braid it in 4 sections. Sleep overnight with the braids, then remove the braids in the morning and ta-da wavy hair!!! This will work for you- no doubt :)

My neice has the same problem. She wets her hair at night, braids it in small braids all over her head, then in the morning it is wavy when she takes the braids out. It might work even better if you put gel on it before you braid it.

Good luck.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

Try getting a body wave at a salon.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

you could get a perm have you tried that?

Best of luck,

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

try a loose perm or get a curling iron with 3 prongs... it takes some skill to use this so dont expect to get it on your first try just experiment with it.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

after washing hair put some gel in it, divide hair into two or four sections and braid each section tight, tie at ends and let dry.

when you undo the braids it should be wavy!!

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

same here. what sort of works for me is if i braid it at night when its damp, but it cant be dripping wet or it will still be wet when you take the braid out in the morning. in the summer though, i dont even try getting it to do anything special. my ponytail holder is practically fused to my hair.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

my hair is relaxed, which has rendered it totally bone straight. When I want a little wave, after washing I'll twist or plait (braid) it into semi skinny braids or twosts, let them dry overnight and take them out in the morning. Finger comb to separate, with some sort or mud/putty/texturizing wax on your fingertips. This will keep it from getting frizzy and messy. I like Manipulator by Bed Head, it's in a little blue jar. Set the ends on small rollers/rods to keep them from being straight and looking messy. It also helps keep the twists/braids from unraveling.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

My hair is really wavy and frizzy so i've never tried it, but i use a relaxer by optimum care to make my hair straight, and it works really well, so i think this product by them to make your hair curly or wavy. i think i will probably work since all the other products from the brand i use work well. otherwise, you could get a crimper and put crimps in your hair to make it as wavy as you would like.

You could go to a salon with a good reputation and get what is called a "body perm". For a shampoo and conditioner I would recommend using Nioxin or Redkin. They don't exactly put waves in your hair but they make it healthier and stronger.

I have brown hair and it is totally straight with no waves at all. Does anyone have any tips on making it wavy

A curly perm can make straight hair curl or wave just as a relaxer can make curly or wavy hair behave straight.I had a polish teacher in elementary school who had straight brown hair(Pretty in a proper non-sassy way). One day she came to school with a head full of fablous eyecatching curls, just like Olivia Newton John in the movie GREASE.It looked FAB! It'll grow out

try putting your hair in braids before you go to bed and take them out in the morning

You don't say how long or short your hair is. I'm American Indian so I have very straight hair. If I want waves, and I do quite often, I braid my hair after showering. I do this in the evening so my hair will be dry in the morning. Take out the braids and you'll have your waves.

I have long hair so one braid does me fine, but you could do 2.

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

I have really long hair, and I'm donating 10 inches soon and I'd like to get it styled.

However, my hair is ridiculously thick, so when it's shorter, it'll probably be really poofy and ugly, which wouldn't be good.

My mom wants me to get it japanese straightened-- we did it once before, and it came out nicely, but it damaged almost every tip of hair on my inside layers, and personally I thought it was rather boring.

Oh, and I don't like highlights, so I'm not even going to bother with those.

So whats a good hairstyle for very thick straight hair about 4-5 inches past the shoulder

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

Keep it a little short.

thats what my sisters did.

but what would i know?

IM ONLY A BOY!!!

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

Just ask the hairdresser to razor the cut and thin it out if it's so thick and poofy.

It's also good to talk with your hairdresser about these things it's their job to make you look awesome.

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

I would suggest a long layered cut

to frame your face

I dont know what shape your face is

so that would determine how short you could make the angle

then to texturize the ends to create

some movement

use professional products to prevent your hair from poofy out as you would say

also use a nice round brush to control your hair

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

Any style with layers below the occipital bone. Tell the stylist to remove more bulk after the hair is dry by point cutting into the layers... very trendy right now.

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

layers, layers, layers! that is what i am doing to my hair and it is thick!

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

since u got really thick hair.. cant u ask u get hair "thinned" by the hairdressers.. this shud get the weight off and keep it really light..

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

I would suggest a simple hairstyle since you have straight hair, the hair cut Jen aniston use to wear is a perfect example: angles around the face. You could also wear bangs if you wanted to .check out these websites maybe you'll find some thing that you like.

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

Have it layered by your hair stylist. Also, try to apply leave on conditioner everyday to keep it from being poofy.

What's a good hairstyle for an asian with very thick straight black hair?

well, you could get it relaxed or something if it's poofy when it's short.and you can sort of get it cut like vanessa hudgens new hair.try it!it might look good.i'm gonna get mine cut like hers too.just ask your hairdresser,he/she will probably know what's right for you

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

Hi,

If the Bill amount at my Hair Stylist comes to $70, how much should I pay as tip. The service was very satisfactory.

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

15-20% of bill so $10.50-14.00

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

well, it depends on the salon and what exactly you had done, but about 12-15 dollars is what i would give.

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

I would give $10.

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

THE NORM IS %15 IF YOU ARE JUST OK WITH THE SERVICE, THAN %10....

$70 at 15% is 10.50

bill at 70 and a 10%tip is $7

i would give between 5 and 7 dollars.........unless you are extremely happy... go for the standard 15%...$10

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

It is hard to find a good hair stylist, so if you are happy with

yours and can easily afford it I would pay 15%.

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

Really everyone in a service oriented industry relies on tips to help their income. Hairstylists included. The average tip should be 15-20% depending on how well of a job they have done. Visit the followig link http://money.cnn.com/2001/10/17/saving/t... and it will break down many tip amounts and give you another link to help.

Ideal Tip amount for the Hair dresser?

If it was satisfactory, I would tip the standard 15%. If I absolutely loved it, I would tip 20% and tell the hair stylist I will recommend her to my friends.

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

The way your hair grows is at the roots, like if you were pulling a strand of rope out of a bucket. The "tip" of the rope doesn't change in any way as the rope gets longer, you just get "new rope" at the base, near the bucket.

When the ends of your hair are really damaged, you can either use something to temporarily hide the damage or you can cut them off; unlike skin, the tips of your hair aren't growing so they don't heal.

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

Use conditioner after every wash. You may also want to try applying olive oil to the ends of your hair every now and then. I heard it makes hair shiny and smooth.

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

u should have thick twice before doing rubbish experiment on ur self . god has given natural beauty u should have . thank god for that u idiot

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

Well, you can't actually make hair grow, but you can stimulate the scalp to increase circulation. That will promote growth. To do that get or give yourself a scalp massage. Try using a good conditioner for the massage on wet hair, this will also help you get the softer hair you want. Biolage閳?Ultra-Hydrating Balm by biolage is a salon product that makes the hair very soft, as is redkin butter treat, Softsheen Carson Breakthrough Revitalizing Conditioner is actually recommended for african american hair, but I use it daily %26amp; it is amazing! It makes my hair softer %26amp; more manageable, %26amp; also helps with frizz. Most important you should be using an anti-frizz serum. My favorite is FX SPECIAL EFFECTS Silk Drops. It works great at a greeat price!

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

Straightened how ? If you use relaxer the only way is to cut the ends . about an inch . Once there is a chemical added to your hair (color , perm , relaxer ) it will always be there . If you hot iron , a cat treatment under the dryer will help . Don't forget too , that once you have dead ends(frizzes ) you will always have hem . they continue to break off . This is why you think your hair isn't growing . Again a good trim ,, until you get the results you want . Sometimes it's good to trim one inch ever six to eight weeks . You should start to see improvements in 6 months .

I have straighten my hair two years ago, it becm frizzy.how to get back the softness n tips to grow?

first, get a trim at the hair dresser's, then ask if they can straighten it. do this every 3-4 months

I want to apply my own hair highlights. Can someone tell me how to do this? Give me some tips.?

I am sitting with a hairdresser while I write this and she says that you should NOT do it yourself because in the end you will spend more when you will HAVE TO go to a hairdresser to fix what problem you caused yourself. If you have a friend that gets highlights and is happy with her hair, go to her hairdresser. Good Luck!

Maintain hair when letting it grow for dreads. need help with maintenance getting Long and nappy. any tips?

dont wash wear hats put in ponytails touch a lot if you want it nappy but if you want it well kept and clean use mane and tail shampoo and brush regularly

Maintain hair when letting it grow for dreads. need help with maintenance getting Long and nappy. any tips?

All you have to do, is grow a small afro, because in order to grow dreads, you already have to start when your hair is really short, then your hair will grow. Just make sure, that when you get dreads, that you keep on getting them re-locked every now and then, as soon as you see new growth.

Good Luck!

Maintain hair when letting it grow for dreads. need help with maintenance getting Long and nappy. any tips?

If your hair is already in baby dreads, just be careful when shampooing- either shampoo once a month or wait a month or two before shapooing for the locks to set. You can use seabreeze or witch hazel with a cotton ball to clean your scalp and relieve itching. If your hair isn't locked yet, wait until your hair is two inches or longer and start your locks either on your own or in a salon. Also, its good to use products without waz or petroleum for locks to avoid buildup, use oils

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

whats the reason?? and can i cut my hair a finger tips length everyday until i think i get to the length i want?

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

I have never heard of that before :)

Women are allowed to cut their hair, but it should not resemble that of the non believing women plus sit should not be shorter than the shoulders length. There is a Hadith of Rasulullah that men , at times, have hair which reached up to his shoulders.

Edit: Whoever imitates a people is one of them.閳?(Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa閳ユ獙mah, 5/182

But please note if there are reasons then obviously this doe not apply.

There is a clear distinction between males and females. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

what?????? what does this have to do with being a Muslim???

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

That's not true.

You can cut your hair to any length you want.

At least, I haven't heard of anything that restricts the length hair should be cut. I doubt that exists.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

LOL, funny question. I guess I am too new in this!! I just cut my hair, I didn't know this but I will check out the answers you get to learn more! :)

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

There is no harm in cutting women's hair as long as there is no resemblance to men or non-Muslim women. The evidence is that the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) used to have their hair cut until it became as 'Wafra' (i.e. hanging over shoulders). It is narrated in Sahih Muslim from Abu Salama Bin Abdur Rahman Bin Awf that they used to do so to reduce the burden that is caused by hair.

Imam Nawawi (May Allah have His Mercy upon him) said: 'This is an evidence of permissibility for cutting women's hair'.

However, intending to imitate men or non-Muslim women by this practice is strongly forbidden. Imam Bukhari narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) "Has cursed men who make themselves like women and has cursed women who make themselves like men" .

Rest Allah knows the best~!

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

I think it is women should not cut their hair so they look like men. It is also sunnah for a man to have hair just below the ear. I think it is recommended when a woman does hajj that she cut her hair a finger tips length.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

salaam :)......

Muslim women are allowed to cut their hair..but it is whilst hajj that a women can only cut their hair fingertips lengths.....

Abu Dawud and others reported on the authority Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (pbuh) said: 閳ユ凡omen (pilgrims) do not have to shave (their heads); they may only shorten their hair.閳?

Ibn Al-Mundhir points: "There is a scholarly consensus (ijma`) on this issue, because shaving a woman's head is in fact a sort of punishment for her."

As to how much of her hair a woman is to cut off, Ibn `Umar is reported to have said: "When a woman (pilgrim) wants to cut off her hair, she may hold her hair at the front and cut it off about the length of the tip of a finger."

According to `Ata', a woman should cut her hair off her sides, of the long hair as well as the short ones. This is reported by Sa`eed Ibn Mansur. Others hold that there is no limit as to how much a woman may cut off her hair. The Shafi`i school holds that cutting as much as three hairs is enough for a female pilgrim.

hope that helps =D

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

I have never heard of that before. My brother in law is an Aalim and my sister and me both get our haircuts every few months. If, for any reason, it was unlawful, I'm sure my brother in law would have encouraged us to stop going to get out hair cut.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

Salaams,

havent heard that one before, to those saying women should not cut their hair to resemble a non believer, what does that mean? I cant cut my hair in a bob, have a fringe etc because a non muslim has the same hairstyle?, please elaborate.

Thanks

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

I think you can cut your hair as long as you do not resemble a man in haircut.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

this is according to the school of thought of Imam abu- Haneefa may Allah have mercy on him, but I do not follow his school of thought, so I do not believe that.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

you can cut your hair alright,,,but don't get the crew-cut.

Why do Muslim woman can only cut their hair fingertips length?

what??...hair and fingertips...sorry but u don't make any sense

I want to dye my hair. Something cool and unique. I'm thinking dark brown with bright red tips?

That sounds cute! But in my experience, red hair color fades extremely fast, so keep that in mind. I like it when girls do one color on top and another underneath, so maybe you could try to do some variation of that! Whatever you do though, have a professional do it for you so it will come out looking great and healthy.

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's

help! how can i make my hair healthier? the tips seem to be getting lighter. and ofcourse it's damaged from highlighting and starighteing it for 3 years :[

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's also damaged :[

here's the best damage control you can do: STOP straightening it (for a while, until you see the lustre coming back into your hair!). use a shampoo and conditioner formulated for damaged hair (schwarzkopf is good), you could even try a hair mask to hydrate your hair and get rid of all the frizz. then, use an old mascara wand to define those luscious curls of yours! you could even use leave-in conditioner if that helps keep your hair tame. consult a beautician to see if there's anything more you could be doing.

and finally, chuck that straightener somewhere in the back of your closet or in the attic! if you really want straight hair on a daily basis, get it chemically relaxed and straightened at the parlour! NEVER straighten on a daily basis, you're just frying your hair!!

and of course, drink lots of water :) good luck!

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's also damaged :[

I also have curly hair and straighten it for the most part. I use the Curl Care by Fructis. I use the shampoo and conditioner even if I'm going to straighten it. And when I get out of the shower, I apply the Fructis Leave-In Conditioner throughout my hair from root to tip. I let it dry a bit and then use this straightening spray called Beyond The Zone from Sally's and straight iron my hair. My hair comes out super soft and shiny. You would've never thought I have naturally curly hair. Hope this helps.

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's also damaged :[

i used to have the same problem. I use biolage.. it is salon shampoo.. but it is worth it. I also use a spritz on my hair before straightening it.. that helps a lot. The spritz is made by matrix and it is in an orange bottle. Good luck.

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's also damaged :[

I'm in the same situation! I have been using both the anti-poof (blue) and the straighten up (purple) Sunsilk, but I recently switched to the Hello Hydration Clairol Herbal Essences, with the Hydra TLC (pink) Sunsilk 24/7 creme.

I would get regular trims to keep down the damaged ends, but you should also use a deep conditioner at least once a week to help prevent damage. Thermasilk is specially designed to prevent damage with heat styling, so that might help your hair as well.

Hope that helps!

Which shampoo should i use for my hair? its naturally curly but i straighten it everyday. it's also damaged :[

Maybe you might rethink your approach.

There is nothing wrong with naturally curly hair. Some of us think it's very attractive. Try enjoying it for what it is for at least three months without the torture of straightening treatments. See what happens.

Nothing beats accepting and using your natural resources to their full extent. You'll at least be able to say that you're honest with yourself. Honesty is attractive in, and of, itself.
