Try spraying each section with hairspray lightly before straightening with a flat iron, that should help keep the frizz down.

Heyy! Okay, as a fellow poofy-hair girl, here's what to do.

Tie up the top half of your hair in a bun. Straighten the bottom half, using a brush and hairspray to keep it straight. The humidity may be threatening the straightness, but hairspray will help. If you don't have hairspray... well, just straighten it.

Then do the top section of hair.

To prevent your hair from getting puffy and out of control, don't leave all of it down. Tie or clip back part of it or do a braid or something. Leaving it all down will get in your face and it is more likely to get all curly again.

try straightening it in layers. like tie it all up like you are putting your hair in a pony tail and take down small chunks of hair and straighten that. it will take a little longer, but it really works and it wont friz in heat. i have thick, frizzy, and curly hair and my hair looks perfectly straight and thin when i do it that way.

Try washing your hair in as cold water as you can stand, and asfar as straightening, try taking small, even sections, on a medium to low heat and going over it several times. this will reduce heat damage and make hair look sleeker. or you could put it in a messy bun at the bottom of your neck..i do this often in summer. best of luck!

ok... first wash your hair, after towel dry it half way only then let your hair air dry after it will straighten out own and finally use a hair straightener after each spray strand of hair with hair spray.
