Growing my hair out the healthy way without damaging it?
I heard a great way to grow out hair is to utilize more low-maintenance styles, such as updos or a nice bun...etc. ,for styling purposes to become less time-consuming.
Shampoos: Paul Mitchell Products, such as the Tea Tree Shampoo, is very good and Frederic Fekkai technician Conditioner for dry, damaged, color treated hair and other products of that brand are soothing and refreshing, great for the hair. Base conditioners such as Suave or Dove are good as well (can find in Walgreens or dollar store for a cheap price).
I believe to not overwasf your hair to an extent, it's good to wash every three-four days, or co wash (wash with only conditioner) depending on the texture or oil production of the hair. If your hair is stringy (every day), fine (every two days), dry(three-four).
Moisture is also a major component to healthy hair if your hair is dry. Make sure you pay attention to the ends of your hair and moisturize those places the most to prevent fuiture split ends.
Hope these tips and suggestions work.. :)

I dont think growing your hair to your "boobs" are unhealthy. I know a girl who grows her hair to her butt. How does she go to the bathroom? Well to answer your question. I should use a damage control shampoo and conditioner. And put on some damage control hair cream or something on it everynight.

For starters, only wash your hair oevery other day if you can. If you have a tendency toward oily hair, wash it everyday with a shampoo that is made for everyday shampooing. Biolage makes gentle shampoos. To make it grow, keep the ends trimmed. Split ends are not the way to longer hair. Deep condition your hair once a week.
When Brushing your hair always begin at the end of your strands and work your way up, it will prevent breakage.

get it trimmed every four months or so. your hair grows 1/2 inches a month i believe. also stock up on conditioner! and deep conditioner. a natural treatment would be to rub olive oil in the tips of your hair. also, split ends are your enemy! if you see one, snip that bad boy off! and try not too straighten/blow dry your hair to often. trust me, my hair was down to my butt before i donated it! and thats exactly what i did to it.

_Damage Control_
As hair grows, you'll want to keep it strong. After all, you're planning to keep it for a while! I recommend these steps for everyday damage control:
- Use gentle, conditioning shampoos and conditioners for
your specific hair type
-Comb and brush out hair before washing to stimulate the scalp for a thorough and therapeutic cleansing.
-Use a protective hair styling product to shield hair from the damaging effects of heat styling. (like blow drying, curling or straightening)
-Be careful with styling tools and harsh chemical processes (like perms) as they can cause hair to break.
-Avoid hair accessories that can snap and damage hair, like too-tight ponytail holders or metal clasps on clips.
_The Waiting Game_
As you patiently wait on your hair, experiment with new looks to take you through transition time with style.
Start by investing in an arsenal of hair accessories -- barrettes, elastics, bobby pins, headbands, scarves, hats, and the like -- and experiment with some new daily looks. A
Bangs are a great choice too!
_Washing_
- Apply shampoo to just the top of your head. The shampoo閳ユ獨 job is to cut away the debris, grease, and other build-up. Put the shampoo on your scalp, not the ends of your hair.
-When you apply conditioner to your hair, do so from the bottom of your ears down and concentrate especially on the ends. Gently rub additional conditioning treatment into the tips of your hair to prevent split-end damage.
- When rinsing for the last time, consider using cool water, as that causes your pores to shrink 閳?so when you go to brush, it decreases your chance of losing too much hair!
-Many people use hairdryers to dry their hair after a shower, or for styling purposes. What most of us don't realize is that by doing this, we're actually causing our hair to become brittle and dry, which leads to breakage and split ends. Once in a blue moon, drying your hair with a blow dryer won't hurt it too much; but you may want to consider allowing your hair to dry naturally more often than not閳?or better yet, skip the dryer all together!
Hope it helps! =]
