^^Okay, I want shaggy hair like the dude in the pic above^^.
Now you MUST answer these questions to get best answer.
1. How many inches long is his hair?
2.Do you like his hair style (this answer must come from males/females ages 10-30 for good answers)?
3. Lastly, I've tried growing my hair in the past but it always looked lifeless/horrible. Are there any suggestions for making it look better when I wake up? Like what's the mousse, blowdry and toussle technique people do to make it look sweeter? Explain pleaseeeee? I need hair maintenence tips too!
Oh and the problem is that his hair is CURLY, mine isn't. Can I still pull this off? Or can I get my hair curled perm or something?
Please answer my question, I want shaggy hair ;] I'm male!!!?

About 3 to 4 inches.
2.Do you like his hair style (this answer must come from males/females ages 10-30 for good answers)?
I think it looks really cute. If I were younger and single, I'd run my fingers through it.

You need both a great cut and great product. I would find a female with a hairstyle you like and ask for a reference to her hairdresser. I'm guessing maybe a razor cut might do the trick. (If your hair is flat and lifeless, you need layers to give it some dimension.)
Also, through a consultation, a hairdresser can direct you towards daily maintenance (shampoo/conditioner) and style (techniques, product).
Hair is not a one-size-fits-all. Taking your hair's condition and texture into consideration, a good salon will help you get closer to the results you'd like to see. You might consider going to a trendier place. You may end up paying an arm, leg, and possibly a foot, but you may end up with something that's more flattering than what you already have in mind.
Oh yes, if they suggest it, don't be afraid of highlights, lowlights, and other color enhancements.
BTW, don't go with the perm. If it's done incorrectly, you'll damage your hair. Gals prefer au naturale!

Not to be mean, but that style is out.
instead of that, i would cut it short and use gel to make it look messy, i swear thats what i go for!

There is no such thing as "in" now. There's no specific style anymore. Its whatever you want.
When its wet, put suave curling moose in it, followed by Samy Big curls ( you can find them both at any Walgreen's or CVS store) blow dry it if necessary, works great. my hairs like that most of the time, unless i straighten it.
I wouldn't get a perm, because you might regret it.
plus guys with shaggy hair are so adorable!! ;)

1. his hair looks about 3 to 5 inches long (that picture isnt very detailed to tell much)
2.this style, i think is great for middle school aged kids. if i were that kid i would use a hair straightener, straighten my hair then use a little hair wax to finish the look.
3.the best thing to do is to fix your hair before you go to bed, that way you dont have as much work to do with your hair in the morning, which means more sleep for you! maybe after you wash your hair blow dry it but use a flat brush and brush your hair while your drying it. then after you blow dry it (make sure it is completely dry) then flat iron it (straighten it) then, if you want mousse, wax, or gel its up to you. my favorite is mousse and wax (one or the other, never both at the same time) use about a dime to a nickel size amount, rub it between your hands then rapidly and randomly run your hands though your hair. i would even kind of shake my head a little after i applied the product to more of the shaggy look.
as far as curly goes, do not get a perm it will absolutely ruin your hair, it will make it frizzy and you'll hate it! you can probably pull his style off much better with straighter hair. hope i helped!
