Bleaching my hair blonde??

my natural hair color is a reddish brown and i would really like to become a honey blonde with a lighter blonde highlights and some dark brown on the lower half of my hair (not tips of my hair). can anybody recomend some treatments i at home if you think i should do it at home?? or should i go to a salon (recomendations please if you know a good place that's a chain that i would have in my town)

I think you should go to a salon, BUT I don't think you should bleach your hair at all- it takes everything out of it.

I WANT TO DO THE SAME THING WITH MY HAIR THAT UR DOING WITH YOUR! i recommend go to either bernards or hello gorgeous. DONT go to hair cuttery. they do a bad job.

Don't bleach it you will be at risk of killing your roots in your hair and going bald, you could try natural hair dye and getting someone do dye if for you it cost about $20

I would go to a salon so you at least know it's being done correctly. If you have a Regis Salon around you they are usually pretty good and professional. Good luck!

go to a salon, a lot less chance of messing it up and because your hair is reddish brown there is a chance it could go ginger with home products so best option i say would be to go to a salon

Anytime you bleach your hair go to a salon, cause it can turn some crazy colors if you don't know what your doing. Sorry I don't know of any good salons especially the ones in your area. Panopoulos Salon maybe? If you have one.

Don't do it at home, you will end up with brassy colored hair. Look in the phone book for a local cosmotology school, go there. I just went and got highlights and lowlights and a cut, cost 30.00 and she did a great job. Yes they are students but they are up to date on new and old procedures. especially if you don't want to pay full salon prices. And if you go make sure you tip. Just what ever you do , don't do it yourself at home, the store products are harder on your hair and it really is something that a professional should do. Good luck
