Can I curl my hair when wet?

I have naturally straight hair, so curling for me takes about a half hour. Here's my question: After taking a shower, can I simply put moose in my hair and curl it, or do I need to blow-dry my hair first? Any tips would be apperciated! Thanks! : )

actually u can but not with a curling iron, their is something called scrunching mousse that u can buy, or just plain old gel and then let it dry and it will harden and look curly. And it takes a lot for naturally straight hair but just put it in there and keep scrunching ur hair with ur hands until it dries. hope this helped

glad you didn't try it first..and no you can not curl hair wet..im' not sure why you would even ask that question, it seems silly to me, but no question is stupid..most likely a high heat curling iron would burn the hair when wet..and wouldn't even do anything..i've tried curling my hair when its even a little damp, just because i thought it was all dry to come and find a few pieces underneath were still damp and those pieces didn't even curl, just sent up steam..so please dry it all the way..or if you have to wash it the night before and then curl it the next morning..

ok, i have straight hair as well and the best thing to do is don't wash it. get your hair wet with like a spray bottle or something then put curling mousse in it and scrunch it. also get a diffuser attachment for you blow dryer and dry you hair that way. it works wonders!
