To make it straight try Paul Mitchell Straight Works--shampoo, conditioner and leave on straightener. I have frizzy/curly hair and it works great for me.

For one, your hair is definitely growing, but it takes a hella long time for some people to have their hair grow. Like, it takes mine maybe three months or so for it to grow an inch. If you want to help it grow faster and stronger, take a multivitamin with iron (or just an iron supplement), and make sure you're getting enough protein. It'll make your nails stronger too.

To get it to straighten or curl, there are products that are designed specifically to help your hair respond to the heat that it requires to either use a flatiron or a curling iron successfully. You can find some at drug stores, but in my experience the stuff you can buy at salons in more effective. Also, there are shampoos and conditioners that serve the same purpose, and used in tandem with the products they can be really helpful.

You might just need a cut if you really need your hair to look different, or you might need a trim at least - when your hair grows out and gets out of shape it's harder to get it to do what you want it to.
