I'm in 6th grade, I have a few questions... like getting my ears pierced, strightening my hair

I'm in 6th grade and I wanna try something new, do you think I should get my ears pierced? If so, what kind of ear rings do you think would work for my age. I also have long layered, curly light brown hair, it's very thivk and coarse so I'm wondering if there's a strightener out there that would be good for my hair and not too expensive. Right now I wear Brown mascara and eyeliner, and every once in a while eye shadow, does that sound about right for a 6th grader? I would like some outfit ad hair tips too, thanks everyone so much....by the way my mom already said we could look into getting a straightener and getting my ears pierced and stuff...

The makeup sounds fine to me. Chandelier and hoops woudl work with you and a conair straightener would probably be best.

Studs and simple hoops are appropriate for a 6th grader. However, makeup in 6th grade (what are you, 11, or 12 years old?) is inappropriate. Girls shouldn't wear makeup until high school.

okay. so your in 6th grade. i wouldnt wear eyeshadow unless its a darker color and it compliments your eye color and skin tone. you'll just end up looking bad..your hair would probaaly work with a conair straightener..they arent that expensive..wal-mart, walgreens..that type of place sells them. just a plain ring for your ears or a post if your just getitng them pierced worked best. and it doesnt look like your trying really hard or anything. try a conditioner to smooth out your hair if its coarse too =]

i pretended fairies lived in my backyard in 6th grade. i didnt care about makeup or ear piercings. seriously, you have years and years to worry about how you look. RIght now you should revel in the fact that no one cares in the least if you look good or not. im 17 now and i wish i could go back to the days where i was carefree and wasnt always looking to see if my face wasn't all smudged up.

That's appropriate to get your ears pierced, but only one hole in each ear. Some teens think the ones with lots of earrings in each ear look trampy. Straightener is good too at that age.

Try the clothes at Hollister's, but not the low cut stuff. That's where the high school girls shop so you will look a little sophisticated. They are owned by the same people who own Abercrombie and Fitch, but the clothes cost less there.

Forget the eye shadow and eye liner at your age. The mascara is okay if your eyelashes are too light to be seen.

ahh for ears, i would say hoops. idk if where you live sixth grade is too young for the big ones, but thats what they do here (: %26amp; i straighten my hair with a corioliss pro, but i have naturally very curly hair, possibly like you, and everyone likes that more, so i would suggest leaving it natural (: %26amp; try volume exact by covergirl (black) for your mascara, and keep up with the eyeliner (: also try some shimmery bronzer. as far as outfits go, just take a visit to hollister and youre good to go ! good luck (:

That make-up sounds completely suitable, but don't wear too much more, especially at that age.

A relatively cheap and effective straightener is..

I just got my ears pierced at Claire's they have the cutest studs ^.^ (Boys can go there too!!)

If you are going to straighten your hair, this is a really cute hairstyle http://www.lauren-conrad.net/coppermine/...

As for clothes, i would try HCO, A%26amp;F, Aero, American Eagle, Kohls, ect.

An outfit idea would be..http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=64040...

Don't too far on make up, the brown mascara is nice and the eyeliner, but the eyeshadow is a little too much. You should get Conair its affordable and great, but since you have thick + curly hair you should use Sun Silk to help your hair to straighten better. You should get roundish earrings and very colorish. This should help.

I think you are wearing the right amount of make-up for your age. That's about how much I used to wear. Also, I absolutely love my straightener it's just a little pricey. I have the red turbo 2 inch chi. You could look into buying one on e-bay that is brand new and could get it a lot cheaper. That's what I did and I got it for $75 and it was supposed to be almost 200! Also as for earrings, try simple studs or little hoops. That's still what I wear and I've had my ears pierced for a really long time. I hope I helped.
