Can anyone give me tips on how to only dye only half of my hair? (to give it that two tone look)?

well, sure, using half the product mix half of each together in a separate dish or glass; use the plastic gloves, apply to separate strands or just do what I do, put it on hap-hazzardly !

Pull from the top of your ears back %26amp; put that part in a pony tail. This look also comes off better if your hair is layered.

Yeah go to a hair salon because my friend tried to do it herself and was a little off when she parted her hair so her hair ended up looking a hot mess

are you talking about something like streaking your hair? they have products in most stores that come with special tools to separate your hair like herbal essences highlights. Also try just sectioning off parts of your hair and dying the other parts.

yes use a frosting cap and just pull the hair that you want to change thru and not the rest and you will have two different colors of hair also you can buy this stuff that can be put on and its not permanent ... it to is put only where you want to put it hope this helps

one ways is to just touch the areas you want colored with a brush, just wear you need it, this will achieve the chunky look, next would be to use foils and a metal tail comb to pull out the pieces and fold packets with the color on the separated hair.

the first suggestion is something you can do on your self, but on the second i would have a professional do the foil application, they can get closer to the scalp and avoid bleeding of the color on the unchanged hair
