I need homecoming beauty tips..?

My homecoming dance is tomorrow night. I really need hair make up tips.. My dress is red and black, and I'm wearing black jewelry.

Make Up: I was thinking a smokey look for my eyes, is that a good idea? If so, can I have some tips? If not, any other suggestions?

Hair: My hair is about two inches passed my shoulder. I was gonna go for a curly style. Tips or Suggestions please?

Make Up- go for the smokey look- it'll look really nice, paired with either red, cherry or nude lips- wot ever suits ur skin tone.

Hair- curling it will look nice. Put in some heated curlers- for about 30mins and take out. dont touch the hair for about 5-10mins so the curls can set. run ur fingers through to helps separate them. Take some of the hair at the side of ur head (above the ears) and pull back- dont gather any hair on the back of ur head-so ur holding some hair in 1 hand and some in the other. Tie back with a band close 2 ur own hair colour. Use a nice sparkly or red clips to hold. Leave a few bits near ur ears and tong them and any odd bits that have fallen out or didnt get into the pony tail. tong the pony tail bit for more curl. Spray with hair spray.

btw- dont pull back so tight, have it looking slightly loose.

Makeup- try a shimmery white eyeshadow with black mascara and a sheer shiny red lipgloss

You could go for a smokey eye, but it really depends on your eye shape and how much of a crease you have. Remember if you do a lot of make up on the eye, the lips need to be subtle; and vice versa. That's just a general rule for make up.

I do suggest you "practice" before the big night, so you don't realize 5 minutes before you about to be picked up that the make up doesn't work for you.

May I also suggest doing browns/golds/ or even a peach on your eye and a bright red glossy lip. Like I said it really depends on your skin tone, and YOUR style whether this will work for you or not.

I don't suggest curling your hair, since it's so short, once you curl it it'll be at your ears! Straight hair is very in - especially with a side part allowing for a sultry but not slutty look. If you REALLY want curls, you could also do an up-do, that's very classy.
