Any Straightening Tips?

I have really curly/poofy hair. I just got an awesome straightener that can straigten wet and dry hair. Any tips on how to control the poof, get it as straight as heck, etc??

i've got the same kinda hair,

after taking a shower be sure to put

on anti frizz creame BEFORE straightening your hair, (best if u put it on while hair is wet)

it not only leaves your hair silky and straight, it all so adds fluster to your hair. And when it comes to straightening ur hair,

do it in sections. start off with the bottom layer and work ur way.

I have the same hair type!

I have a straightener just like that

what I do is I divide my hair in to sections before I straighten it then I put moisturizer of frizz serum right before I straighten it then it usually comes out great

What you need to do is to blow dry your hair straight when your hair is damp. It helps to get the hair closest to the roots straight so you don't have to straighten with the straightener cause it causes frizz...Also try tresseme products (anti frizz) they're amazing!!

hope this helps!

try CHI hair products, i also have curly/poofy hair and when i use these products it makes my hair smooth and shiny. i love it.

definitely get an antifrzz serum (john freda is good) also deep condition your hair by leaving conditioner in for 3-4 minutes, put your hair in a shower cap. then use a anti frizz heat protection spray(like tresseme) blow dry your hair alittle before you straighten because the wet hair straighten doesnt work that well on curly wet hair (experience)

I know that problem....ok there is this product called "twisted sista" u can try this and blow out or use a flat iron and pull it straight. It lastslong well untill u wash it out.

first buy some sprasy to control the frizz. Also get some straightening spray that protects your hair form the heat. Then straighten your hair throught layers. Pull the top half up and straighten the bottom layer then when your done with the bottom layer pull the top part outta the hair-tie/ clip and straighten that top half. Then you'll have nice straight hair! =]

My hair is curly. I saved up for ages for my GHD's from ebay (鎷?0). I take hair and skin vitamins. I use intensive conditioner every time I wash my hair. I wait for it for dry and bursh it. In sections I straighten it.

I use the GHD spray (also from ebay lol).

Good luck xxx
